Westfield Gardens for Nursing and Rehabilitation recently hosted its Five-Star Celebration Brunch at the facility’s campus. Distinguished guests included Westfield Mayor, Brian P. Sullivan as well as past residents and rehab graduates.
The catered event celebrated Westfield Gardens having been awarded a five-star overall rating from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services – in addition to their recent five-star quality of resident care rating achieved in 2017. The festive brunch also served as a reunion for rehab graduates and former residents.
Nursing home ratings are taken from the following three sources of data: health inspections, staffing, and quality measures. The rating system was created to help consumers, their families, and caregivers compare nursing homes. Westfield Gardens scores five-stars overall, five stars in nursing staffing, and quality of resident care, and four stars in health inspections.
