Short-term rehab and long-term skilled nursing care with dignity and compassion.
The Mansion is a short-term rehabilitation and long-term care facility located in Sunbury, PA. The building housing the facility is indeed a mansion. Built by a wealthy family atop a hill, the home was converted to a nursing home, but retains much of the old-world charm in this warm and friendly facility.
We hire people that are caring, honest, and hard-working that keep our residents and families as our number one priority.
Our caregivers use their training and experience to enrich the lives of our residents.
We're proud of the dedicated people who share in our commitment to put residents first,
improve quality of life and provide excellent care with compassion and dignity.
We encourage families to visit, dine, and celebrate with us during birthdays and holidays.
We listen when you have feedback and work hard to keep you priority number one.

Short Term Care
Our goal is to help your loved one return home quickly after recovering from illness or injury.
Every resident receives a customized care plan designed to meet
their unique needs and to improve confidence, strength, and independence for your loved one.
We make sure that residents have the right treatment provided by a team of physical, speech, and occupational therapists.
Whether your loved one has an illness, injury, or needs specialized treatment for complex care needs,
we will work our hardest to help them recover fully and live a comfortable life after returning home.
Long Term Care
The first priority in long-term care is getting to know your loved one.
From food preferences to music taste to learning about their life before they got here,
we want to make them feel right at home.
Caring staff is on site 24/7 to treat your loved ones with sensitivity, confidence,
and compassion in a relaxed atmosphere to help ensure their confidence and independence.
Our focus is to partner with acute care providers to better manage and service patients
with complex care needs in a post-acute setting and to meet needs of each community.

Residents Enjoy Summer Outing with Boy Scouts Troop 331
About 60 residents and guests joined in the festivities on May 12th at The Gardens at Palmyra’s Mothers Day Tea. In advance of the event, daughters were sent questionnaires asking about favorite memories, advice, and recipes they remember from their moms, and the responses were distributed at the party. Guests enjoyed desserts, fruit, lemonade, and of course, tea....
After 16 years of hard work and dedication to her clients, beautician, Ruth Miller has made her final cut at The Mansion.
Ruth has been an intricate part of our team since Administrator, Mark Monahan took the reigns 17 years ago. Ruth will be greatly missed by staff and residents. We wish her the best as she starts this new chapter in her life. Happy retirement Ruth! ... See MoreSee Less
Residents, staff, volunteers and BSA Troop 331 spent a beautiful summer day at the Shikellamy State Park Marina!
Staff members prepared a delicious feast of picnic foods starting with grilled hot dogs, baked macaroni and cheese, baked beans, potato salad, fruits, and a scrumptious, prize winning mandarin dream poke cake. I say prize winning because during National Nursing Home Week the staff had a bake off contest and this cake won hands down. The creative cook was our very own transportation driver, Pam Quigg.
Later that afternoon volunteers and the boy scouts escorted the residents for a leisurely walk around the park before returning home. Mansion is very lucky to have such a dedicated group of young men who are willing to help out the facility throughout the year as well as our dedicated volunteers.
